Services

Steps2work specializes in assisting people with mental health, emotional or learning issues to identify, obtain and maintain employment.

Employment Training Specialists (ETS) assist participants by providing vocational evaluations, assessments, community based work experiences, supported job searches and support during the transition to successful employment.

THE REFERRAL PROCESS

Steps2work is funded through the Manitoba Economic Development and Jobs and receives referrals from Employability Assistance for People with Disabilities (EAPD) and Community Mental Health workers.

EMPLOYMENT SERVICES:

Steps2work provides a wide range of employment focused services designed to assist clients in developing skills and aptitudes identified during the assessment process, and/or addressing any identified barriers to successful employment.

These may include individual and/or small group activities, as well as community-based work experiences, job shadows and mock interviews.

Computer Lab

Participants have access to computers for working on Resumes, Cover Letters, Job Search and other tasks assigned by their Employment Training Specialist.

Based upon demand, Steps2work can provide workshops or group training in the following areas:
