I originally went in with the intention of simply finding a steady job that wasn’t so physically demanding. But as I continued to attend my workshops, I was surprised by the earnest enthusiasm of the staff, even those not directly involved in my case, who encouraged me to “feel safe to dream big”.

I feel confident about my future, and it’s thanks to steps2work’s amazing support that I am excited for the next stage of my journey through a career in technology. I cannot thank the entire steps2work team enough for their encouragement and support. Even when my mental health felt like a gigantic barrier to finding success in my future, they were there for me and helped me get through the tough moments.

My experience at steps2work is great! I’ve gained confidence, learned new skills and got back in the groove of working. They are like a little family of amazing people. Everyone is very kind and working their hardest to help their participants prepare for finding Employment; whether it is finding work for the first time or re-entering the workforce. Every day, there is laughter in the building, sometimes even little jokes or pranks on fellow co-workers to keep things interesting.
